Varsha Dasgupta is a young, talented, and vibrant kathak dancer, a disciple of the world-renowned Kathak Exponents Guru Shri Abhimanyu Lal and Guru Smt. Vidha Lal of Jaipur Gharana. She is the recipient of a scholarship by the Sahitya Kala Parishad, Govt. of India in the field of Kathak. She is also a Doordarshan graded artist, empanelled with Spic Macay. Varsha has been fortunate enough to be under the guidance of and worked in many choreographic works of Sangeet Natak Akademi Awardee-Guru Smt. Geetanjali Lal also.
