Why these workshops?
The past year flew away faster than a sonic jet, partly due to the stay-at-home routine and partly due to our coping efforts with the pandemic. Indeed Covid-19 has put a stop to many things again. But it must not break our spirit.
With that in mind, we are organising this event for all of us and our families to Rejuvenate for Hope.
Come Saturday and Sunday, ready up your Yoga mats and dancing shoes.
On Saturday we'll relax, calm our minds, and learn how to integrate YOGA into our daily lives. The session will be conducted by a Delhi-based Yoga therapist - Garima Kohli. She will take us through different series of sookshma kriyas, asanas with breath sync, pranayama, and mudras with variations to suit all levels and ages. Let us all join her in this session with our family members.
On Sunday, we'll energize ourselves with some fun and exhilarating dance moves. We'll learn how to spin and whirl and fulfil our lifelong wish to step onto that dance floor and have people part to make way for our performance. The instructor, Neeraj Barolia will teach us the basics of Salsa dance - he'll teach us how to lead, shine, follow and repeat. We don't necessarily need partners to tune into his session, just a penchant for dance.
This is your chance to explore these passions that you always wanted to pursue but somehow could not so far and spend quality time with your spouse, kids, parents, siblings!
Together with Thought Sutra, let's rejuvenate our lives with some much-needed hope and celebrate our talents!
1. You must be dressed in activewear attire ONLY. Jeans or any other non-suitable form of clothing will not be allowed.
2. Keep a towel & a bottle of water handy.
3. Please find a place with minimal (zero) distractions for the class. Interruptions hamper the class experience.
