About the Artist:
Zahra Yazdani (b 1986, currently based in Delhi) is a visual artist who works mostly with painting and photography. She graduated in painting from Sooreh Art University in Tehran. She started exploring alternative photography processes in 2017, she has exhibited her works in three solo exhibitions and several group shows. Her practice is centered around narrativizing situations of crisis, struggle, and trauma by focusing on life experience and observation, and is highly influenced by fantasy, the subconscious, and dreams.
